I still have an issue with the tDBInput Component. All the attached files mentionned in this email were sent directly to you Shong. I attached the original Visual FoxPro generated by a program called MatchIT (CRM_DETAILLANT_MATCHIT.DBF) that is used to populate the tFileOutputDelimited_1 (Example_vfp.csv) in the job.

The second input which uses tMSSQLInput was populated through the transfer of the data using EasyFroms EFS Database Migration Toolkit Pro ( ) from the original CRM_DETAILLANT_MATCHIT.DBF file into MSSQL format.
This tMSSQLInput component generates tFileOutputDelimited_2 (Example_mssql.csv). I slightly modified the schema of the tDBInput component in the only 2 columns which are Decimal and made them Integer instead so both csv outputs will hold integers in these 2 columns. I then compared both csv files using WinMerge ( ). There is a difference in the following lines: 2, 65, 72, 77, 239, 367, 371Īll the other lines are identical. I cannot pinpoint why the tDBInput file does not extract the data as cleanly as it should.īTW: If you run the same job again with the same input files, chances are that the line numbers where the lines are not identical might vary! Obviously they should be entirely identical but tDBInput is wrong. Over time WinMerge has added many features to make it easy to compare files and folders.
